***IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER***

Your machines, clothing & towels are filled with a smelly fillers & bacteria that takes several washings to fully clean out.  Some people ( not everyone)  when they first begin using our detergent comment about a funky odor that is coming from their machines….this is because our detergents are ridding this yucky gunk, chemical residues, bacteria and even mold out of your machines, clothing & towels.  Your previous detergents just covered this odor up & perpetuated the problem.  Make sure you are washing in HOT water & NOT overstuffing your machine.  This is critical. During this clean out period I often  tell people to set your water level higher than your actual load size to ensure lots of hot water is adequately moving through your machine & clothing.  If build up is particularly bad, I suggest using 1/2 cup of baking soda to help with the odor  or a couple of capfulls of our Odour Eliminator Liquid until your machine gets fully cleaned out.  For most people this process only takes a few weeks.  After that you will be amazed how fresh smelling your laundry is as well as your machine.  REMEMBER…this clean out period is vital because this will prolong the life of your machine.  Most machines break down due to build up of gunk, bacteria & mold under the drum & in the pipes.  Most dryers break down due to heat sensors shorting out because of fabric softener buildup.  If you have ANY questions about this “clean out ” period please don’t hesitate to email me.

 Personal  testimonial:

From my own personal experience I can honestly tell you that there is a dramatic difference in the condition and performance of your microfiber cloths and mop pads when they are laundered with Norwex Laundry detergent verses store brands.  Initially, as I was aquainting myself with the Norwex products I didn’t purchase the laundry detergent or the Dishwashing Liquid.  Though I loved my cloths, I noticed they looked worn after just a few months and began to smell a bit sour.  I then read about how using regular dish washing detergent left soap residue in the cloths that could breed a sour odor.  The article also went on to say that the fillers in our detergents clog up the fibers and can also breed odor.  I decided to order a fresh set of ANTI-BAC Cloths, the Dish Soap and the Laundry Detergent and see if I noticed any difference in their wear and tear after repeated washings.  The difference was immediately noticable but probably the MOST noticable after 2-3 months.  By then they had been washed numerous times.  The cloths I used for dishwashing NEVER SMELLED SOUR and the cloths hardly showed any wear. And my “old” cloths, well, they never smell sour anymore.  I also noticed that my bath towels smelled exceptionally clean and fresh after EVERY load, …all without the use of fabric softeners.   That was it,….I was sold and have been very happy with the condition of ALL my laundry, not just my microfiber cloths.

**** TIP ****

For especially greasy or dirty cloths and mop pads we recommend either squirting a bit of the Norwex Dishwashing Liquid on them as a safe pre wash agent or diluting a few tablespoons of the Norwex Laundry Detergent with water in a spray bottle which is an excellent laundry prewash agent as well.

**** TIP ****

I recommend that you wash the Cloths and Mop Pads in very warm  to hot water.  Cold and barely warm water are breeding grounds for bacteria no matter how great of a detergent you think you are using.  Manufacturers told us for years that washing in cold water was unnecessary and saved you alot of money,….BUT, that was another marketing deception.  They knew that washing in cold water would breed odor causing bacteria and then we would need additional highly fragranced additives including bleach in our detergents and fabric softeners to fool us into thinking we had “clean smelling” towels and clothes.  Sadly, the money we “saved” by using cold water was quickly used up and then some  by having to purchase these expensive and highly toxic additional products.

**** TIP ***

FOR A REGULAR TOP LOADER WASHER  put laundry detergent in the HOT water BEFORE adding your laundry.  If you have a  FRONT LOADER MACHINE then just put the detergent in the dispenser as normal.

***ATTENTION ALL WASHING MACHINE OVER STUFFERS!!!!***

NEVER overstuff your machine.  Clothing & towels need room to move & agitate within the HOT water & detergent.  Overstuffing leads to stinky still dirty clothing & towels!

Towels and washcloths should ALWAYS be washed on hotter water temps.   You can put them in the dryer or hang on a hook to dry. When they come out of your dryer it is fine if they are full of static.  WE LOVE our Cloths and Mop Pads to be full of static charge because this enables them to attract dust, dirt and germs even better

NEVER

USE FABRIC SOFTENER LIQUID OR SHEETS  AND ALSO NEVER USE BLEACH OR BLEACH ALTERNATIVES WHEN WASHING YOUR NORWEX MICROFIBER  IT WILL DESTROY THE MICROFIBERS AND THEIR ABILITY TO PERFORM AS WELL AS VOID THE PRODUCT GUARANTEE.  NOT TOO MENTION, BLEACH AND FABRIC SOFTENERS ARE HIGHLYCARCINGENIC

Norwex Laundry Balls are the perfect alternative to traditional fabric softeners.  They are made of a vegetable based PVC that emits no toxins into your clothing .  There shape, size & weight move your laundry around increasing air circulation in around your clothing & towels.  They reduce static & wrinkles.  Wonderful Product!!!
